Another month has passed, so it’s time for another ‘M’ release by CyanogenMod. The popular custom ROM for Android is now at M10 for CyanogenMod 11.0, based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The new software adds support for Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S5, but it also drops support for the Verizon and Sprint versions of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from yesteryear.
Aside from these moves, possibly the biggest change here is the addition of the brand new CM Bug Tracker application. This will kick in whenever a system app crashes, prompting you to upload a log to the CM mothership. Hence, it should now be easier than ever to report bugs as they affect you.
The Theme Engine now supports some more UI elements, the Settings app has gotten a new ‘scramble PIN’ feature, long pressing recent apps switches you to the last used app, a soft reboot option is now present, as well as support for smart covers, glove mode, and ANT+. Privacy Guard can control NFC permissions, and as you’d expect many bugs have been fixed.

* New Devices: Galaxy S5 Sprint (kltespr)
